Do, 03.10.2013    21-22 Uhr	BTTB - Back To The Basics Zwei Kölner haben sich von Chicago Footwork beeinflussen lassen und eröffnen die heutige Sendung mit einer fulminanten EP. Was dazu führt, dass die erste Hälfte sich insgesamt zwischen Juke und Trap bewegt und gewissermassen eine Fortsetzung der letzten beiden Roll-The-Bass-Sendungen ist. Dabei hören wir u.a. auch DJ Rashad und Chrissy Murderbot aus Chicago, aber auch Claude VonStroke, Scratcha DVA, Om Unit oder Mark Pritchard. In der zweiten Hälfte wird es entspannter mit Musik von Drake, Ikonika, Twigs, Claude VonStroke und Sasha Perera, die als Sängerin von Jahcoozi bekannt sein dürfte, nun aber ein Solo-Projekt als Perera Elsewhere gestartet hat und damit gleich Hype Williams als Remixer engagiert hat. Sa, 26.10.2013    12-13 Uhr	All Samples Cleared!? - 25 Jahre Bomb The Bass Vor 25 Jahren erscheint "Beat Dis" von Bomb The Bass - ein Feuerwerk aus nicht weniger als 70 Samples. Damit gilt es als Pionierarbeit in Sachen Sampling. Der Mann hinter Bomb The Bass, Tim Simenon, prägt mit seinen Arbeiten in den folgenden Jahren die Sampling-Kultur in England und weit darüberhinaus. 1987, als der Brite beginnt, Musik zu veröffentlichen, hat Sampling bereits Einzug in die Populärmusik gehalten. In Hinblick auf die Weiterentwicklung des Sounds und der technischen Möglichkeiten steht es jedoch in den Anfängen. Die Alben von Tim Simenon zeichnen diese Entwicklung eindrücklich nach. Die ByteFM-Moderatoren Juliane Reil und Marcus Maack haben mit Tim Simenon darüber gesprochen, wie er zum Sampling kam, welche musikalischen Einflüsse für ihn entscheidend waren und worin die Herausforderungen dieser Produktionsweise bestehen. Außerdem hat Tim Simenon eine Idee, wie man das ganze Sample-Clearance-Dilemma revolutionär vereinfachen könnte.
